The Dessoff Choirs seeks qualified singers who can read music proficiently, sing with good blend and intonation, accurately prepare music independently, and commit to all rehearsals and concert dates that comprise our multi-concert season. Dessoff rehearses on Monday evenings on the Upper East Side.

We have scheduled 2 audition evenings: Wednesday, August 29, 2007, or Thursday, September 6, 2007. Interested choral singers are invited to send an e-mail inquiry including name, address, phone(s), and voice part to auditions@dessoff.org. Our Membership Chair will get back to you after August 1 to schedule a private session with Maestro Bagwell. The 10-minute audition will consist of vocalizing to demonstrate range and quality of vocal production, and sight-singing. No prepared piece is required.
